 Return of the Classics - November 2010
A near full house enjoyed a tremendous evening of live ‘60’s music from the’Classics’ on Wednesday evening. There was barely room left on the dance floor as some of the clubs slightly older members relived their teens and twenties! Watch out ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ there’s some real talent out there especially the ‘young’ octogenarian in the blue checked shirt!
 As usual, the music was tremendous. These guys learned to play the guitar in their youth and are really accomplished musicians. As one member commented ‘Where do you get to hear people with this amount of talent for just a fiver?’
If you missed them this time make sure you don’t miss them the next time they come to perform at the club.  Thanks once again to Alan Blakeman for organising the event and for being a superb supporting act.
