Members and Non Members Welcomed alike And they say nostalgia ain't what it used to be! No need to go to a school reunion with all the people you hated when you were there, as you can now come to our Skool Dinners Night and share stories of your time at school with your current friends around the High Peak. Get out your old school uniforms, enjoy a delicious version of the old favourite school dinners, and then dance the night away to classic tracks from the 50's through to the 80's delivered by the fabulous Ali B 'Skool Disco'. |

 Bollington Band Band plays at Christmasby Marion Harrison (Lady Captain)
On Sunday 18th December 2011, after a tricky icy journey, driving gingerly up Eaves Knoll Road, the welcome at the golf club was festive, warm and friendly with everyone anticipating a musical evening provided by the Bollington Brass Band – and we certainly were not disappointed. The conductor, Mr Peter Christian, a popular member of New Mills Golf Club was a great compare and kept everyone in a jovial mood with lots of participation from the audience. Carols, picked by the audience were rousingly sung, staff kept the drinks flowing and at the interval, Liz and John our steward and stewardess provided some delightful hot pork sandwiches and chips - and very reasonably priced!. |

 The annual New Mills Golf Club Annual Dinner Dance was actually the second one this year as last year's was postponed til March due to December 2010 being snowbound - remember that? This December the weather was OK and a fabulous evening was enjoyed by members and their guests. It was lovely to see everyone in their finery for what turned out to be a night to remember. Members and guests alike were greeted with glasses of Bucks Fizz and Canapies beautifullly made by Liz our Stewardess and served by the attentive waiters and waitresses for the evening. The clubhouse looked fantastic decorated for the Festive Season to follow. |

 Murphy's Marbles supported by Milligan's WakeNovember 2011 Members and Non Members Welcomed alike
The New Mills Golf Club welcomed back the fabulous Murphy's Marbles, and anyone who has seen them before at the club will know what a brilliant and talented band they are. Come early to ensure a seat. The Marbles are one of the most accomplished Irish bands in the country. Testament to this is they are one of the only Celtic bands from the UK to be invited to perform in Ireland at the International Irish Music Festival. |

 The ClassicsOctober 2011 Non Members and members were welcomed alike
The Classics returned to The New Mills Golf Club for the third time in October 2011. An incredible band they cover the music of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Johnny Kidd & The Pirates, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Everly Brothers, The Searchers, Billy Fury, Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Ricky Nelson, and many more. |
