Ladies friendly matches between New Mills and clubs in High Peak
Every year New Mills Ladies play a number of friendly matches with local clubs in and around the High Peak including Buxton Cavendish, Buxton & High Peak, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Disley, Marple, Mellor, Romily & Werneth Low.
Anyone can sign up for these matches, which are always played in a good spirit and are followed by ‘match teas’ in the clubhouse (often including some lovely cake – which is ‘allowed’ since you have just played 18 holes of golf!)
Joining in the Ladies friendly matches is a great opportunity to play other local courses for the cost of a match tea. Well worthwhile. Matches are usually held on Mondays starting at 10.30am. Please sign up on the lists in the locker room.
