A very difficult par 4, normally played into the prevailing wind. Hit a good tee shot and then decide whether to attack the green with your approach, but beware of the stream about 30 yards short of the green.
Monowa's assessment of Hole 9On you way back to the clubhouse and tuly feeling on top of the world with the views from this tee, and with plenty of space to hit into many are tempted to give that little extra and many regret it. A strong tee shot unruffled by the wind will give a confident player the chance to drive the green. The rest of us are left having to play safe and lay up before the stream ahead of the green, leaving a straight forward, but long, chip onto the green. Bunkers either side of the green are there to welcome the wayward. A chance for the higher handicapped to score well here if big hitters.
