A short par 4 which has risks and rewards, the slim green is reachable for the bigger hitters but is well guarded by bunkers, so the safe shot could be to lay up just short of the fairway bunkers leaving your favourite distance to the long green.
WML Consulting's assessment of Hole 3This hole offers a reasonable chance at par and scoring good points if you have a mid range handicap. A good length drive straight down the middle and stopping just before the fairway bunkers will allow you a good view of the green for a reasonable chip on. Leaving your tee shott short will leave a tricky chip onto the green because of the bunkers flagging the entrance to the green. There's also a bit of a run off to the right down the hill and into a couple of those guarding greens so aim left. Putting can be tricky because of undulations and contrast with a sloping hillside that makes it a little difficult to judge the fall. All in all a very well balanced hole with enough traps to catch the unwary and even the knowing but complacent.
