New Mills Golf Club

1. Only Full Members are entitled to take part in Club competitions.

2. No Member whose subscription is unpaid shall be entitled to take part in ANY competition until such subscription shall be paid.

3. All competition fees shall be paid before play is commenced, otherwise the Member will be disqualified from the competition.

4. Whenever appropriate, competitors must play in threes. Fourballs in medal are not allowed.

5. For match play in KnockOut Competitions the top name of the pairings on the exhibited list has the honour on the tee and is also responsible for arranging the match with the opponent. Where competitors are unable to agree a date and time for the match before the due date, the Chairman of the Handicap and Competitions Committee must be informed in writing by any one of the players at least one week before such date with a view to taking action to arrange the match; otherwise both players will be eliminated from the competition. Matches must be played from the back markers.

6. Strokes received will be in accordance with the recommendations contained in the current edition of the Rules of Golf.

7. All Qualifying Competitions played off full handicap.

8. All QuadAms played off 3/4 handicap.

9. The decision as to cancellation of competitions because of adverse weather conditions shall be by the duly delegated officials acting for the Committee.

10. In all matters relating to Club Competitions, decisions of the Handicap & Competitions Committee shall be final.
